About Larry: Lawrence first discovered yoga while searching for relief from chronic low-back discomfort. With relief from pain, his practice continues to be inspired by the mind-body-spirit connection. The teaching of “Mindful Yoga” includes an eclectic variety of styles. Experiences will typically include: meditation on breath awareness, traditional Hatha Asana practice mixed with moderately paced Vinyasa sequences, hands-on adjustments to promote optimum alignment as well as releasing muscle tension, Yin style postures to create balance and space, and peaceful, musical relaxation.
Lawrence believes the most important things to bring to the mat are an open mind and sincere intention, then staying present and following the muse.
Aside from practicing yoga, Lawrence has a deep passion for music, has studied the guitar and occasionally experiments with sound healing theory.
